Skaleski Moving & Storage, agent for Allied Van Lines, is now accepting applications for experienced Straight Truck Drivers. We are a family owned household goods & office moving company that has been relocating customers since 1936.
The duties of the Straight Truck Driver position include driving to and from residences & offices to pack, load, and unload goods. Qualified applicants are not required to have a CDL. Applicants must work well with others, enjoy working outside, at customer residences, and in office settings. TWO YEARS straight truck driving experience is required for this position. No moving experience needed, we will provide paid training to qualified applicants.
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with some Saturdays. 30-40 hrs/week.
$26.00/hr+, with GUARANTEED hours.
All applicants must have a valid drivers license and transportation. Must pass a physical/background check, and must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to lift 50 lb+ on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and miles driven.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
- Load and unload household goods and office items at customer locations.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations while driving.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and other drivers on the road.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
