Foreway Transportation is looking for a customer service/load planner with experience in the trucking industry. Must be detail oriented, good at multi-tasking and have excellent problem solving skills. Demonstrated success with rate negotiation with brokers and customer development a plus. Applicant must be willing to do new things, and work well in a close team environment Knowledge of DOT regulations is a must.

Experience in transportation customer service or dispatch required.

Strong computer skills with internet browsers, 365 outlook, Excel, etc required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Building strong relationships with assigned customers and brokers
Solicit profitable loads from brokers
Communicate by email, phone.
Work on excel spreadsheets
Work with SSI Powerpro TMS system (will train)
Tracking system is Omnitracs
Data entry
Track and Trace Shipment Progress and update customers on the status of loads when needed.
Back up other team members when needed
Communication with the operations team regarding issues and updates.

Work schedule, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (on call when needed)
